Meet the Physicians in Philadelphia, PA

Dr. Richard S Mandel is a graduate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996 and has been a board certified family doctor for 15 years. Dr. Mandel attended Beaver College, now Arcadia University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Mandel did his Family Practice residency at Frankford Hospital, now ARIA Health. Dr. Mandel completed his Family Practice Tracking Internship in 1997 where he was chief intern and followed with a two-year Family Practice Residency finishing in 1999. Dr. Mandel took over Ashton Family Medicine in 2001. Dr. Mandel lives in Montgomery County with his wife Lauren and his four children: Dylan, Paige, Logan and Jaxon.

Dr. Loehrig is a 2003 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to PCOM, she attended Villa Joseph Marie High School, where she was valedictorian in 1995, and Wilkes University from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Dr. Loehrig completed her post-graduate training in the Frankford Hospital System- now ARIA Health. Dr. Loehrig completed a Family Practice Tracking Internship in 2004 at which time she received the honor of being awarded Intern of the Year. Dr. Loehrig did a two-year Family practice Residency at Frankford and served as Chief Resident during her second year. Since finishing her residency in 2006, Dr. Loehrig has worked full-time at Ashton Family Medicine. She has served as Associate Program Director of ARIA Health's Family Practice Residency Program from 2006 to 2015. Dr. Loehrig was twice awarded the Family Practice Teacher of the Year award from the residents of ARIA Health. Dr. Loehrig lives in Bucks County with her husband and daughter.

Cassandra M. Colosimo is a board certified Physician Assistant that graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2017. Prior to Jefferson, she attended Alvernia University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Cassandra has also spent time interning at Penn State Health St. Joseph in Primary Care and Pediatrics; as well as completing rotations in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Surgery at Jefferson, Abington Health, Bryn Mawr and Christiana Care Hospitals. She has extensively researched CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, previously known as RSD), and is working to have her research published shortly. Cassandra currently resides in Bucks County.
